LETTER TO THE CONTRA COSTA TIMES
THE TIMES WROTE AN EDITORIAL CALLING ME A "FINE CANDIDATE," SO I WROTE THEM A THANK YOU NOTE WHICH INCLUDES MY ISSUES
EXCERPT OF TIMES ARTICLE RE: IMPROPER UNION DONATION OF $1000
I told Harris who has accepted $1,000 from the IBEW that his acceptance of the maximum amount from the main union which benefited from $470,000 for a contoversial Wi-Fi system and a monitoring system for city hall was improper and that he should return the money.
TIMES CLIPPINGS WITH MY COMMENTS
SO THE OAK PARK SITE BOND WAS SEEN AS NECESSARY AT LEAST A YEAR AND HALF AGO AND NOTHING GOT DONE. IF WE HAVE FLOODING THIS YEAR THE CITY HAS REALLY EXTENSIVE PLANS TO GIVE US SAND AND BAGS. MS. WILLIAMSON SAID THERE WILL BE SANDBAGS ON HER DRIVEWAY. THE COUNTY PLANS TO SELL THE OAK PARK SITE NEXT MONTH. THE FUTURE COUNCIL WILL HAVE TO DO SOMETHING WON'T THEY? NOT NESSARILY IF DR. HARRIS AND MS. WILLIAMSON ARE STILL THERE. VOTE FOR CHANGE! VOTE FOR ME, STEWART RINE.
