For over a decade, I have been representing the people of Antioch; fighting to preserve open space, raise the wages of workers, and make our neighborhoods safer for our families. As your next City Councilman, I will put your interests first, not the special interests.

Experience Money Can't Buy: Fighting for The People of Antioch

As Antioch Planning Commissioner, 1999-2003, I:

  • Advocated for slower, smarter growth policies.

  • Was the only Commissioner to vote against development on 2,700 acres of pristine open space in Southeast Antioch known as "Future Urban Area One."

  • Supported limiting major housing growth in Southeast Antioch and fought for increased job growth.

As Your Next City Councilman, My Priorities Will Be Simple:

Standing Up To Special Interests

Sometimes it's hard to tell where our current City Council ends and the special interests begin. That will change once I am elected. As your representative, my door will always be wide open.

Crime Prevention

Violent crime is on the rise in Antioch. I will emphasize community policing, and work to find funding for boys and girls clubs and a new youth community center for after-school activities.

Economic Development and Job Creation

60% of Antioch residents commute elsewhere for work, clogging our roads and sending our tax dollars to other cities. I will ensure that new, better paying jobs come to Antioch, and stay here.

Protecting Open Space and Relieving Traffic Congestion

Developers have too much influence at city hall, and it's lowering our standard of living. I will fight to control urban sprawl and traffic, protect our beautiful hills and landscapes, and improve our air quality.
