I have been a Professional Engineer since 1977. I have been practicing engineering in California for nearly 25 years and a District resident since 1981. I have been the President and Chief Operating Officer of a consulting firm for over twenty years. I understand the importance of budget control and the bottom line. I know how fees and taxes can impact businesses and family budgets. Rate payers deserve this focus on an efficient and effective operation as water quality is protected.

I was Chair of the Board of Regents of John F. Kennedy University when we relocated the University to its permanent home in Pleasant Hill. I am now Treasurer and Chair of the Finance Committee for the University and understand the complexity of budgets. As a Licensed Professional Engineer (Registered Civil Engineer) I have the technical training and experience to understand the complexities of waste water treatment. Public service and clean water benefits everyone.
