Creating a sustainable culture of equity and excellence is our biggest challenge
To comply with the federal legislation of No Child Left Behind, each school district must face the challenges of closing the racial achievement gap. I believe that the Board of Education can play a significant role in facilitating the cultural changes within the school system by focusing equity and excellence.
