Phil Wyman's record as both a legislator and a leader in Sacramento is impressive. He was the Senate author and floor manager for the "3 Strikes & You're Out" legislation, the Assembly author of Governor George Deukmejian's Death Penalty Restoration Act, and wrote new laws to reform California's nursing homes, allow school uniforms, and establish Parental Consent. He served as Chairman of the Assembly Constitutional Amendments Committee, Chairman of the Assembly Republican Policy Committee, Vice Chairman of the Assembly Committees on Higher Education; Business and Professions; Agriculture; Water, Parks and Wildlife; Economic Development and New Technologies; and International Trade. Phil Wyman won't need any on the job training in the Legislature - he's the one candidate we can count on to hit the deck running.
