Gas Prices are TOO HIGH !--Immediate Relief for Motorist.

By Phil Wyman

Candidate for Member of the State Assembly; District 32; Republican Party

This information is provided by the candidate
Phil Wyman understands the increased financial burden that has been placed on motorist and our economy due to rising fuel cost.
Gas prices are simply too high. It is time to abolish the state sales tax on gasoline. State tax revenues are up more than $4 billion since January according to the Franchise Tax Board. Currently consumers pay four separate taxes on every gallon of gasoline. If elected I will support a proposal which includes a provision to repay those funds with the surplus state revenue. This will greatly benefit our commuters and working families.
