Improving Education for ALL

By Phil Wyman

Candidate for Member of the State Assembly; District 32; Republican Party

This information is provided by the candidate
Phil Wyman believes that every child deserves a first-class education and should not be held captive to a failing School District.
Some of our local school districts are experiencing real problems. I believe every child should be entitled to a first class education. That is why we must encourage and allow for competition between educational facilities. There is no reason why a student who is not receiving the education he or she deserves should be captive to a failing school district. Parents should be given the option to put their child in a private school with the same tax dollars that were allotted by the state for the child's education. This would lead to schools competing for the attendance of students which would lead to a better education and opportunity for all students.
