California's Number One Problem: Illegal Immigration

By Phil Wyman

Candidate for Member of the State Assembly; District 32; Republican Party

This information is provided by the candidate
Phil Wyman knows that illegal immigration has created a crisis in California - He has a Tough 5-point plan.
Our state is facing an illegal immigration crisis. While illegal immigrants flood across our borders, radical demonstrators waving foreign flags flood our streets and disrupt our schools. I have a tough 5 point plan on dealing with this issue:

  • I will work to establish the California Border Police, an official state police force (like the CHP), to work along side the U.S. Border Patrol to secure our border. The California Border Police will save state taxpayers at least $10 for every one dollar it costs.

  • Authorize all state and local law enforcement agencies in California to enforce Federal immigration statutes.

  • Stop state funding to cities and counties who declare themselves "sanctuaries" for illegal aliens and prohibit their employees from verifying residence status.

  • End tuition subsidies for illegal aliens at state colleges and universities.

  • Require all employers, both public and private, to verify the legal status of all job applicants through the federal instant verification program of the U.S Department of Homeland Security and the Social Security Administration.
