I am honored to have served Congresswoman Barbara Lee as her Chief of Staff for five years, and Congressman Ron Dellums as his District Director and Senior Policy Advisor for 25 years.

The Education, Health, and Safety of our children are the top priorities of my campaign for the California State Assembly. I will work to restore all Proposition 98 funding for our schools, and for a State budget that makes our children a real priority for California.

I passionately support full service schools, libraries, and preschools, with decisions made locally by parents, teachers, and students. I strongly believe that keeping our promise to our children will help us build safe, strong communities, and create sustainable jobs.

As your Assemblymember, I will also support creating a healthy community for our children and families. That is why I will work for Universal Health Care and continue my work to create more local jobs, increase affordable housing, reduce crime in our neighborhoods, secure youth and senior citizen services, protect consumers, improve mass transit, build successful small businesses and advocate for a healthy environment.
