Revamp conservatorhip lawsI am an elder abuse attorney and because of that I have seen plenty of elders being taken advantage of. As a result, I want to revamp our conservatorship laws. Businesses that are conservators need to be licensed, educated and held to a fee structure as to what they are charging people for administering their estate. Also, I want someone to actually interview the senior to determine if they are aware a conservatorship is being sought, and/or whether they need or want a conservator. None of these things are required under our current law. |
