Retired from Superior Court of San Diego County on February 25, 2002 * Served as Judge of the Superior and Municipal Courts of San Diego County for twenty-three years * Appointed through court consolidation to Superior Court of San Diego County, in December, 1998 * Assigned to a Civil IC Department, Regional Justice Center, Vista * Appointed to the Municipal Court of North San Diego County on July 13, 1979 * Blanket appointment to hear all Superior Court of San Diego County cases by Chief Justice of the California Supreme Court from July, 1979 - December, 1998 * Elected Presiding Judge, Municipal Court, North San Diego County ~ 1985, 1989 * Eight years assigned to Criminal Courts, including:

Felony Department; Criminal Law and Motion, hearing numerous search and seizure and 995 motions; Criminal Pre-trial Settlement Conferences; numerous 24-hour search warrant duty assignments and probable cause weekend duty; Criminal Jury Trial Departments; Thirteen years assigned to Civil Individual Calendar Courts at both Superior and Municipal levels of judicial service, including all types of ex parte relief, trials (both jury and non-jury), settlement conferences, law and motions, and all types of post-trial motions and relief.
