Marin, Sonoma County, CA June 6, 2006 Election
Smart Voter Political Philosophy for Cynthia L. Murray

Candidate for
Member of the State Assembly; District 6; Democratic Party

This information is provided by the candidate

With Gov. Schwarzenegger taking California in the wrong direction, starving our schools and taking his cues from national Republicans, we need experienced legislators to battle back Sacramento. In this era of term limits, Assemblymembers who fail to hit the ground running will never be able to tackle our state's toughest problems.

For 14 years, I've been working to solve problems for North Bay families. As a Supervisor and a City Councilmember, I have made a difference on reducing traffic in Marin and Sonoma, preparing the North Bay to battle natural disasters and terrorist attacks, taking care for our seniors, preserving wetlands and open space, and fighting for school funding.

Now I'm ready to take all that I've learned to Sacramento. I am not a candidate who just "talks the talk" or only offers unrealistic answers to all of our community's challenges. I have spent my time in Marin and Sonoma counties successfully building coalitions, promoting ideas and implementing creative, practical solutions. My balanced approach and common sense solutions produce results.

On my website, you will find many more details. Go to http://www.cynthiamurrayforassembly.com and just click around. Please contact me at the campaign if you have any questions or you would like to share your ideas for the future of the North Bay.

I would appreciate your support and your vote in June, 2006. Thank you for visiting our campaign.
