War In Iraq

The American military deserves our full support by making sure that they have the resources adequate for the task in Iraq and benefits when they return. It is time for Iraqi leaders to take control of future of the country and provide for their own domestic security. It is also time for U.S. troops in Iraq to be redeployed out of Iraq and for a timetable to be established for withdrawal.
"It is time to bring home our troops from Iraq. Our brave fighting men and women have accomplished their mission of deposing an evil dictator and defeating his army. It is time for the U.S. government to rededicate itself to important domestic issues. The costs, both human and financial, of the Iraq War are too much for our nation to bear. I want to see our troops returned home in a safe and timely manner. Furthermore, I fully endorse Rep. Murtha's position on Iraq and invite you read it for yourself."
