Candidate for 61st. State Assembly District

Paul Vincent Avila
I was born and raised on a California farm, by hardworking father and mother. My father was born during the peak period of the great depression. He was forced to leave elementary school to help the family with basic food and shelter needs. In my early years, as a youth, I had innumerous times observed my father wake to the crack of dawn to work body and soul into the late darkness of night, continuously, without a dayoff, at times, too tired to finish his meager meal. His hands and face bore the advanced stages of skin damage from the visibility of callous, blister, and endless sun burns as a testimonial to his conviction and passion for life's emerging rewards for his childrens' educational and economic future. My father dedicated his labor and loyalty to one employer for 48 years without benefit of retirement or health benefits for his family. One day, he was told he was being being replaced by a younger worker. This sudden announcement of betrayal and stirred a mixed emotions of anger and indignation. It broke his heart, caused a heart attack, and died.

My political motivation and conviction are fueled and driven by looming injustices and a passion for humanity to fight for educational achievements, meaningful moral values they are derived from this endearing parental relationship. I believe firmly in American dreams, are mutual dreams will come true!

I am inspired by the mixed melody of thunderous and patriotic lights like the images and sounds emitting from Rocky's fighting theme song. I have a dream, an American dream, I want to work and serve for the Working Rights of People! I want to be visible to hear your concerns and not just appear visible offering empty promises ( like asking for local passage of a mundaned resolutions) to you near election time!

Please join this campaign to shut-down self-serving "Musical Chairs" ( method of getting around term limits)by those lingering archaic legislators who are out of step with the needs, challenges.and the demands of the 21st. Century.
I support California's High School (CAHSSEE) Graduation "Standards" requirements ( Special Education Students are the exception. Students' real life challenges will always be confronted with demanding standards at all levels of Society. The obvious choices, for the rising aspiring youths are either Fast food service or High Technology contemporary related jobs with a future. The aspiring young people of today need guided images of successful role model's profiles of their own aspirations, like those, campaigning to become the next elected California's legislators. I believe that each American sibling are uniquely capable of reaching and meeting the challenges of symbolic golden bar( standards) of knowledge and are quite amply capable of exceeding its educational Standards limits, regardless of their humble beginnings or their derived ethnicities.

Each generation of the Avila's clan, since the begining of 20th Century an Avila descendants have proudly served/defended against hostile foreign wars, while serving honorably our country's United State Armforces. My Grand-daughter (Marie) is currently deployed and serving in Northern Iraq, near Turkish border with our United States Army!

My wife ( Maryanne Margaret Avila) has been a friend, colleague, and a mother to 5 wonderful, responsible, moral, and religious raised adults with their own families. Maryanne was once the President for the whole State of Ohio's AFL-CIO DALU 1769 Union's Membership.

Historically, the 61st Assembly District has been held and represented by a San Bernardino County Residents
( covering Chino, Montclair,Ontario, and Pomona areas; absolutely not, by a Los Angeles county's resident) I am and have been a longtime resident of San Bernardino County. This emphasized fact is a sharp contrast from those who are bidding for this legislative seat!
