  • VONNY T. ABBOTT
Choose a CPA, not a Politician
For STATE BOARD OF EQUALIZATION MEMBER
(Administering Board for Tax Laws and Regulations)

TAKE A MOMENT AND ASK YOURSELF

Are you happy with our tax system and its bureaucracy? If your answer is NO, then change is coming your way and you have the opportunity to make it happen!

  • The State Board of Equalization (BOE) is a very unique and special institution in the state's government, and is often overlooked, at the LITERAL expense of the citizens. Our public funds and collection of our taxes is a necessary and valued commodity in times of stretched budgets. It is important to realize that those who manage the rules for the collection of these funds must be accountable. At a minimum, my campaign will urge all Californians to demand that all future candidates for the BOE be a CPA.

  • As a California businesswoman who is an experienced Certified Public Accountant (CPA), UNTOUCHED by special interests, I promise to bring a fresh approach for change at the BOE.

  • I believe that we need and should elect a CPA with business experience, untouched by special interests to run the BOE instead of a career politician. A CPA with business experience has the necessary knowledge and experience to understand the tax laws and regulations; to work and affect citizen's lives through changes in our tax codes; and create or remedy what needs to be done to fix our tax structure. I am the only candidate representing the Democratic Party with a CPA and with extensive experience in current tax laws and regulations of California.

  • As a CPA, I will ensure that funds are available for school, healthcare and social programs.

JUNE 6th MAKE A DIFFERENCE!!!

I need your vote to make California a better place for all of us!!!
