Candidate for
Member, Democratic Party County Central Committee; County of Sonoma; Supervisorial District 3

I seek a strong and effective central committee that reflects the core values of the Democratic Party and embodies our political and personal principles of accountability, transparency, self-responsibility, inclusivity and integrity.

I'm acutely aware that the membership of the Central Committee must work effectively to advance the interests of our party in Sonoma County. As the local face of the Democratic party, our activities and our behavior must consistently reflect favorably upon our party in order to encourage growth and electoral success. We know that our local success is the foundation for success at the state and national levels.

Building and sustaining a healthy organizational culture is a necessary prerequisite to achieving our goals, and I pledge to work toward that end. This will involve maintaining open channels of communication among committee members and the public, being transparent in sharing our objectives and plans, and working together to achieve mutually desirable objectives.

I commit to acting on the Democratic Central Committee in accordance with my deeply held values and those progressive principles that I share with members of the Sonoma County Democratic party.
