Permanent Precinct Captains are the new face of the Democratic Party.
As a current member of the San Mateo County Democratic Central Committee, I am pleased to announce the establishment of a Permanent Precinct Operation. The objective of this innovative new effort is to elect Democratic candidates and support Democratic legislative priorities by organizing and empowering Precinct Captains who serve on a year-round basis.

Anchored in the belief that voters are tired of corporate campaigns featuring automated phone calling and avalanches of direct and electronic mail, the Permanent Precinct Operation emphasizes the value of grassroots person-to-person relationships and the effectiveness of neighborhood organization.

This effort is part of a nationwide Democratic program of sustained political activism to supplement the recruitment of volunteers at election time. By establishing a presence throughout the year and not just during campaign season, volunteers can develop ongoing relationships with existing Democratic voters in their neighborhoods while meeting new residents and registering new Democrats.

This program is part of the Democratic Party 50-State Strategy, a plan to take back our country, one precinct at a time. Face-to-face contact is the proven way to establish a Democratic community in our neighborhoods and establish a dialogue with Democratic voters.  Permanent Precinct Captains are the new face of the Democratic Party. Please contact me to become involved!
