San Mateo County public transportation is shamefully inadequate. Public transportation is vital to the growth and welfare of San Mateo County, and I will work hard to improve it.

Preserving the San Mateo County coast requires upholding the California Coastal Act. Too often the San Mateo County supervisors act as a rubber stamp for development interests. I will uphold the letter and the spirit of the Coastal Act.
- District Elections

The San Mateo County coastside needs a dedicated supervisor. I support a coastside supervisorial district, and district elections rather than our current county-wide elections.
