Political Philosophy for Mary Y. Jung
Candidate for |
One of my thoughts for this year is - Politicians pay attention to communities that vote. With that in mind, my focus for the year will be activism among communities that feel underrepresented in the political process. I am open to meeting with different communities to get their/our messages across. I'm not into speech-making or resolutions. I'm into grassroots activism where I can point to concrete achievements. There are many ways to participate in the Democratic Party - from raising money to calling voters or to the simple act of voting. I believe activism does make a difference and prefer to work smart, along with working hard and having fun at the same time. |
