Supervisor; County of San Diego; Supervisorial District 5

The next Supervisor must be able to work with State, Federal and local leaders to create solutions to our traffic problems. The COunty of Riverside must figure into the equation where North County traffic is concerned. Much of the traffic on our highways originates from Riverside County.

I believe we must get a handle on uncontrolled development and pursue a more responsible approach to building. We must have smart growth. If we contiue to allow rampant growth without proper planning North County will be unrecognizable in the near future.

I support closing our Border to stop Illegal Immigration. I also support closing the checkpoints on Hwy 15 and 5 and deploying the border patrol agents on the actual border.
