A cultivation of our own garden....building a great nation through our community colleges.
There is great sorrow in our land of plenty. Students can barely afford textbooks let alone tuition and parking. Faculty and staff are woefully under paid and seldom recognized for stellar performance. This must change. While the G. W. Bush Regime is wasting away America's blood and treasure on an immoral, illegal and illogical war in a land few can identify on a map our Community Colleges go begging. This must change. America's solution is not unmitigated violence overseas but rather education at home. If the Europeans can figure this out so can we. I propose a textbook fund for needy students, a roll back of tuition, increase funding for the big three allied professions---caregiving, chidcare and nursing. Let us begin the welcomed road to a new America.
