Candidate for Mayor; City of Chula Vista

Summary of Petra E. Barajas
I am Petra E. Barajas, a running candidate for Mayor of Chula Vista. My goal is to move the City business forward to the 21st Century because things are now done as they were in the old times of Colonization (Wink & Nod). When the Minute Man Militial would run on horseback in the middle of the night alerting the colonies that "The Red Coats Are Coming!" We need to get our City into the Present and prepare for the Future!

We can read in the newspapers about the 21st Century "Paul Reveres" like Peter and Susan Watry, Wona Franklin, Judy Cascales, Lupital Jimenez, Earl and Kip Jentz, and others.

Now for my personal data you can click on the Smart Voter's guide (http://www.smartvoter.org) for my Biography and other issues such as when I ran for S.W.S.B. and as a Write-In Candidate for the 79th Distric Election of 2004.

Issues I'd like to Address Here:

1. Personal information, such as my age, is not required to be in the Mayor's Office.

2. My Ethnicity, my Mexican heritage, etc., are not required for the Mayor's office since I am a U.S. Citizen.

3. My Cultural relevance to the City of Chula Vista is that I raised my family in the 91913 zip code, near Southwestern College. I had the American Dream home: a two story, six bedroom, four bathroom, fireplace, with a mini- Olympic pool and jacuzzi. It was the only home with an intercom in it, and it was next to Bonita Vista High School.
