Candidate for
Mayor; City of San Jose

My main goals will be to lead an open and professional civic administration to start addressing key priorities. Among these priorities:

1. Return the government to the people of San Jose with comprehensive Sunshine laws, by not accepting funds from lobbyists in my campaign and by leading an administration that is open and responsive to all the people of San Jose, not just the insiders.

2. Grow our economy with targeted investments in emerging industries and technologies and by making San Jose a more attractive place to do business. Expanding our sales tax base is the key to providing essential revenue to overcome our annual budget challenges.

3. Lead the way to create partnerships for reform in our schools so every child has access to a quality education, excellent after-school activities and top quality higher education opportunities.

The solutions are there, we just need leaders willing to fight for them.
