Questions & Answers

1. What would you do to increase the number of voters registered in your party?

I will continue my work with the Central Committee to enlist neighborhood precinct leaders. These leaders are volunteers within a precinct who are willing to outreach to friends and neighbors to assure that they are registered to vote and that they know there is a local contact for them within the Democratic Party. I believe these neighborhood leaders are essential to registering voters and creating an active and organized political force for the Party.

Additionally, I will continue to assure that we have Democratic voter registration tables at as many community events as possible, especially within the underrepresented communities.

2. What would you do to help the campaigns of candidates of your party?

Having worked on campaigns for a number of years, I would advise candidates on strategy, help obtain and organize volunteers, and distribute the candidate's message.

3. Why did you become a member of this political party?

I believe that the Democratic Party is truly the party of and for the People. The Democratic Party is the country's only hope for protecting our environment, improving education, providing a safe work place that offers a living wage, guaranteeing affordable health care options for all, and ensuring that the American people continue to have a voice. I became a member of the Democratic Party so that I could assist the party in bringing these ideals to fruition.
