Webster is the Orange County Assessor. He is an experienced private and public-sector business manager. Webster started his public career with Orange County after a career of technical and business management work. He provides business, fiscal and technical management to the valuation of over 1,000,000 units of property annually.

Prior to his county work, Webster had a distinguished career as a project manager for engineering, construction, technical and computer systems development projects. He brings outstanding leadership and management to the development of solutions for this job.

His experience is varied and brings together the successful applications of business, financial and technical management. He was a member of the National Performance Review Task Force, and served as the 1999/2000 National Director for Information Technology for the National Association of Counties (NACo). He is listed in Men of Achievement and Who's Who in Business and Finance. He is the Millennium 2000 Manager of the Year for the Society for the Advancement of Management. He is a member of the Board of Visitors to the Peter F. Drucker Graduate School of Management at the University of Claremont, CA.

His education includes a M.S. in Civil Structural Engineering and a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering with emphasis on business/contract law, projects management, personnel administration, and computer and information systems sciences. Webster did his undergraduate work at Northrop University in California and his graduate work at the University of Southern California (USC).

Webster has exceptional knowledge of and experience with assessment practices, laws and systems. He brings a wealth of business management experience and technical skills to this job to avoid the problems that exist in many large bureaucratic organizations today.

Webster, our County Assessor, has been involved for over twenty-five (25) years with technical organizations and public interest groups supporting youth motivation projects locally and nationally. His wife is a business leader and he has an adult son.

Webster is a person always willing to share and to help others. In 1999 he helped to change the Exemptions laws to provide additional assistance to the families of Disabled Veterans.

Our Assessor is a proven leader; we know he is dependable and that he has demonstrated both integrity and passion in providing to us exceptional public service.
