Viet Nam Veterian, Property Tax Specialist, Preserve Prop 13, Increase homeowners exemption to 10%, and protect our borders.

As a thirty year veteran in the property appraisal and taxation industry, I have a great deal of experience regarding both governmental and citizen's perspectives of assessments. My most recent experience was with a major CPA firm. I served my country proudly during the Vietnam War, and worked with the United States Navy S.E.A.L.S. During my tenure I exposed massive corruption within the Assessor office and out of control property taxes. Citizens were being taxed out of their homes. As a result, taxpayers passed Proposition 13, the largest property tax reform measure in State history. Save Proposition 13. I worked very hard to defeat the El Toro Airport. I conducted a special appraisal and proved, the value of our homes would be drastically reduced, if El Toro was turned into an airport. As your elected Assessor, I will protect the rights of property owners. I will stop employees from snooping around your homes for patios that a city permit has not been issued. I support an increase in home owner's exemption from 7,000 full cash value to 10% of the home value, and advocate higher exemptions for seniors. I support the efforts to stop illegal immigration and protect our borders. Save Proposition 13
