Experience as a Public Servant

Since you elected me to office California has faced many challenges, I am proud of our achievements and the manner that this community has tackled those challenges.

I have made Education, Public Safety, Agriculture, Health Care, Affordable Housing and Economic Development my top priorities. I will continue to protect our community and give local programs the attention and resources they deserve.

As your legislator, I authored legislation crucial to our cities and counties. As a result, I was named Legislator of the Year by the California League of Cities. I founght for affordable housing funding vital to addressing our area's housing shortage. Moreover, after a sexually violent predator was placed in our community without notice, I responded with legislation to prevent this from happening again.

Since taking office, my goal remains the same, delivering needed services to our communities as efficiently and effectively as possiible.

I will continue to seek your opinions and concerns through community meetings and events. June 6, I ask for your vote so that I may represent you as your Monterey County Supervisor in District 3.
