Democrats must draw a distinction between themselves and the failed policies of Republicans, and bring this message back to our communities by bringing back the permanent precinct organizations of the past.

By restoring community to our Democratic party, we can make our neighbors involved again in preserving our neighborhoods and increase voter turnout.

It is easy to say that Republicans stand for big-business corporate interests, intolerance and undermining international stability by refusing to treat our allies as partners in peace.

Democrats stand for opportunity, justice and equality, and a secure peace.

OPPORTUNITY: Fully funding education, social services and supporting working families and small businesses.

JUSTICE AND EQUALITY: Protecting our environment, marriage equality and universal health care.

SECURE PEACE: Treat our allies and partners in peace, beginning the immediate redeployment of troops out of Iraq while preserving political stability, supporting Israel in its effort to find a secure peace, with a partner that is committed to peace as well.
