Patrick "Kit" Bobko is a native Californian, born at George Air Force Base in Victorville. Kit comes from an Air Force family. His father is a decorated fighter pilot who flew combat missions in Viet Nam. Kit's uncle is an astronaut who piloted and commanded the space shuttle on three missions. Kit continued the Air Force tradition.

Kit's call to public service came in 1987 when another Californian, President Ronald Reagan, appointed him to the United States Air Force Academy. Kit graduated from the Academy in 1991, as his father almost thirty years prior.

Kit proudly took his place among the Air Force personnel who serve this country as an Officer at Shaw Air Force Base, South Carolina. Kit's duties included supporting a front-line squadron of F-16 jets. Kit rose to the rank of Captain.

After receiving an honorable discharge from active-duty in 1996, Kit first earned a Master's Degree in Philosophy from the University of South Carolina and then attended George Washington University Law School. In law school Kit edited a law journal and worked as a Law Clerk in the District of Columbia Superior Court. He also got his first taste of politics working on Capitol Hill as a Law Clerk in the Senate Judiciary Committee.

Since earning his law degree, Kit has spent his career litigating on behalf of cities and local governments all over the great State of California with the well-respected downtown Los Angeles law firm of Richards, Watson & Gershon. He has handled cases involving everything from elections contests to multi-million dollar litigation over tax assessments, to disputed mining claims in desert outside of Barstow.

Kit also protects the property and rights of the people of California as a City Prosecutor.

Kit's skill in the courtroom has been acknowledged by his peers who singled him out as a Southern California "Young Super Lawyer" in 2003 and 2004.

Kit has two younger brothers, Joshua and Ryan. Josh is a Fourth Year Medical Student at the University of Miami, and Ryan is an Information Systems professional living in Charlottesville, Virginia. Kit's mother, Sandra, has been a real estate professional for 27 years.
