Candidate for
Council Member; City of Hayward

My name is Gary Steinberger and I was born in Hayward and now live in the neighborhood by Sunset Adult School. I attended St. Bede's elementary and Chabot College of Hayward. I was an avid bowler at Holiday Bowl before they closed, now I have to leave the city for that sport unfortunately.The memories of Valle Vista Skating rink brings a smile to my face from the good times had there.

I volunteer with the Hayward Library delivering books to senior centers and also help out at the senior center by the Japanese Gardens. I am a member of All Saints Church and am on their welcoming commitee and have helped with church displays, decorations, and other areas that may need support.

My work experience is in operations of distribution facilities for over 10 years, political campaigns, a county ispector in charge of a precinct during the 2004 elections, and working with community groups.
