Position Papers
Helping our Schools and Children Succeed
Education is in crisis and as a result, local employment is in crisis. Our public schools are also in a financial crisis. As your County Supervisor I will be the advocate for our schools that so many teachers and school district officials feel is missing at the County level.
Fixing our County's Healthcare System
My plan for improving our County's healthcare system focuses on bringing accountable leadership to our County's Medical Center, saving taxpayers millions of dollars by better preparing our County for the future, and bringing awareness of and educating people for, well paying healthcare jobs.
Improving Transparency and Financial Oversight
By improving transparency and oversight, agencies will run more efficiently, the community will see relief from the constant barrage of tax increases, infrastructure will be better maintained, and balancing the yearly budget will be made easier.
