Zone 7 Water Agency's mission is to provide high quality drinking water, manage ground and surface waters, and provide flood control. I have coordinated several projects with my students and Zone 7 engineers and technicians in the last 10 years and have gained a sound working knowledge of our watershed and water related issues. As Californians, we all know that water is one of our most precious resources. Good management and understanding of the technical and economic issues will be crucial as we face increased demands and challenges to ensure a safe and reliable resource. With my scientific, business and teaching experience I can help bring that understanding to the Zone 7 Board. |
