1. What measures would you support to restore domestic programs, particularly those programs affecting low-income persons and children? (150 word limit)

I would support pulling the pork out of our defense spending to pay for domestic programs. It seems that sometimes we are more concerned with contries other than our own. We need to check the poverty here at home before we worry about poverty in other countries. Less spending to kill weeds in New York in our "Defense" budget and there would be money for needed domestic programs.
