  • PUT PEOPLE FIRST

My professional training is in the restaurant trade. If the proprietor does not PUT PEOPLE FIRST, he or she will have unhappy customers and an unsuccessful business.

The residents should be FIRST and FOREMOST in all matters before City Council.

  • PUBLIC SERVICE

I have been educated in my native IRELAND and I come from a family of PUBLIC SERVANTS. I have been taught that when one becomes successful in business or in any other walk of life - it becomes the TIME TO GIVE BACK to the COMMUNITY and to the PEOPLE who have supported your success.

  • LISTEN WITH AN OPEN MIND

One cannot serve the people without LISTENING to their CARES and CONCERNS about the QUALITY OF LIFE in Culver City.

  • TREAT PEOPLE WITH RESPECT

One cannot serve the people without GIVING THEM RESPECT and ample opportunity to FULLY EXPRESS THEIR VIEWS upon matters that they deem to be IMPORTANT.

  • POLITICS IS THE ART OF COMPROMISE

The five members of City Council have a duty to work together with TEAMWORK in SOLVING PROBLEMS and BEING OPEN TO NEW IDEAS for the GREATER GOOD of Culver City residents.

BEING WILLING TO COMPROMISE means that we can DISAGREE from time to time without being DISAGREEABLE.
