  • Occupation: Financial Advisor
  • 30 years of education and work experience in accounting, finance and business management, including CPA and MBA from UCLA
  • 8 years as active volunteer and proven leader in the school community working closely with School Board & District staff
  • 5 years of service on the board of the Piedmont Educational Foundation, as Treasurer, Investment Committee Chair, Vice President and now President
  • Co-chair of 2005 Parcel Tax Committee, working closely with the District to analyze the budget and prepare a 5-year forecast of funding requirements
  • Member of Budget Advisory Committee, learning about the District budget and providing input to the Superintendent on priorities
  • Ray and his wife Deborah have 2 children in the Piedmont Schools, including a 7th grader in the Middle School and a 4th grader at Wildwood

  • Strong Fiscal Management: develop a long term financial plan and goals in order to achieve a sustainable budget model
