Questions & Answers

1. What are your Qualifications for Office? (50 word limit)

I have served as a member of the Three Rivers Board of Education. I have 20 years experience in township government. I currently represent all the townships in the State of Ohio as President of the Ohio Township Association, as such I'm involved in legislative matters concerning township government on the local, state and federal levels.

2. What plans do you have to address your top three priorities? (100 word limit)

I will continue to keep taxes low by leveraging grants and other sources of income to stretch the current appropriations to the maximums. Maintain the current infrastructure with preventative maintenance to prevent deterioration and expand useful life. Continue to contract with Hamilton County Sheriff for police services. I will strive to keep the fire services at its high level of proficiency by providing proper training and modern up to date equipment.

3. What steps would you take to ensure that all public facilities are accessible to people with disabilities? (100 words limit)

Continue to upgrade public facilities with ADA recommended improvements.

4. What specific steps will you take to expand recycling services in your community? (100 words limit)

Articles in newsletter and continue curbside recycling.

5. What steps would you take to provide affordable housing for all residents of your community? (100 words limit)

This could be done by developing a land use plan with specific language to address affordable housing.
