Questions & Answers

1. What are your Qualifications for Office? (50 word limit)

I have been serving as a judge of the Hamilton County Municipal Court since January 2004. My prior legal experience includes trial practice as an assistant prosecuting attorney for Hamilton County, which involved the handling of serious cases in the Juvenile, Municipal, and Common Pleas courts.

2. What plans do you have to address your top three priorities? (100 word limit)

Serving the citizens of Hamilton County, as an assistant prosecutor, director of elections, and now as a judge, is a responsibilty I value. I will continue to treat all participants in the court with respect and dignity. Every day in court is an opportunity to positively influence our community. The Mental Health Docket is an alternative court option for individuals charged with certain offenses, who meet the criteria for this court, and I am one of two judges who preside over this docket, in addition to my regularly assigned duties.
