Questions & Answers

1. What are your Qualifications for Office? (50 word limit)

Generally, I do not have any previous political background. However, I am a resident of the village of Cleves. Also, I am a registered voter in Cleves, so I am affected by the decisions made nonetheless.

2. What plans do you have to address your top three priorities? (100 word limit)

I'd like to incorporate the concerns of the people and the council so we can grow as a community and as a village.

3. What steps would you take to ensure that all public facilities are accessible to people with disabilities? (100 words limit)

First of all, I would like to address the businesses in our community that do not yet have accessibility for people with handicaps. By establishing communication with the businesses, it will allow for us to begin the process of making all public facilities more accessible for the disabled with ramps and chair-lifts.

4. What specific steps will you take to expand recycling services in your community? (100 words limit)

Since there is already recycling in the village of Cleves, the only way to expand is by spreading the word. An article could be put in the Village Journal to promote recycling in the area. Also, a great way to promote recycling would be by setting an example. For instance, the businesses in our area could recycle their garbage along with places such as the municipal building and the police station.

5. What steps would you take to provide affordable housing for all residents of your community? (100 words limit)

For this specific issue, I cannot give an adequate response without looking into the issue more carefully.
