Jodie L Leis was appointed to the Board of Trustees in 2000 and then was elected to a four year term in 2001. Jodie is currently employed with the Court of Common Pleas as a Baliff with the Honorable Mark R. Schweikert Judge

Prior to working as a Bailiff, Jodie worked for 11 years as a probation Officer serving Hamilton County

She is married to Firefighter, Jack George and they have three children: McKenzie (8), Bailey (6) and Remington (4). Their children attend Loveland Schools Jodie is the daughter of Simon L. Leis, the Sheriff of Hamilton County

Jodie graduated from Mother of Mercy High School and then attended the University of Cincinnati where she graduated with a bachelor's degree in Marketing

Goals and Accomplishments: A fiscally responsible government for the community of Symmes Township Keeping quality services through the Fire Department, Sheriff's Department and the Township while keeping taxes as low as possible Continue to address flooding issues through the Township Maintain and enhance our parks Continue to push for Montgomery Road widening Maintain the Township Road Resurfacing Program Continue with the Sidwalk Safety Program Bring community to the Township through Operation Santa, the Great Symmes Egg Hunt and the Fall for Symmes events Build new restrooms at Stonebridge Park Purchased new property for sports practice fields Build new maintenance barn at Symmes Park Build new dog run at Symmes Park Purchased the Zierverink property for future park Added a Safety Resource Officer at Loveland High School and Symmes Elementary Build the Safety Services building on Seven Gables Road

Jodie feels the Township is thriving and she will work to keep our community's future bright
