Questions & Answers

1. What are your Qualifications for Office? (50 word limit)

I am currently an active Board Member of the Sycamore Boosters. Past Board Member of the Broadway Series of Cincinnati for 10 years (original member)before ,during and after completion of the Aronoff Center. VP and past President of the Advertising Club of Cincinnati. Past volunteer fund raiser, organizer, for Deaconess Hospital, the Anna Louise Inn and other charities. Work Odd Couples Ball and After Prom. Steering committee member who passed the Levy.

2. What plans do you have to address your top three priorities? (100 word limit)

Fiscal responsibility: I plan to attend all board meetings and fully digest the issues and options available to me before implementing changes necessary to keep the Board spending within budget. Find Alternative Cost cuts: As a Board member of the Boosters we decided to underwrite the secondary sports teams at Sycamore so that all children with sports ability would be afforded play time. Donated $40,000 per year for the next 3 years. Communication: Always available to answer questions from the citizens and keep an open mind to suggestions. There are people smarter than I.

3. What will you do as a Board of Education member to increase parental involvement in your school system? (100 word limit)

Volunteerism is the key. By setting an example of continued community support within the Sycamore school and sport system, I also have reached out to larger organizations in an effort to better the Greater Cincinnati Community at large. I plan to encourage all Sycamore Parents to become involved in some part of the process. Involvement becomes infective and once someone buys into the process they assume ownership and want things to work out for the best.
