Questions & Answers

1. What are your Qualifications for Office? (50 word limit)

I have been a lawyer since 1991, representing clients in Municipal Court and other courts and have appeared before almost every judge in Hamilton County.

I am from a working class family with strong values. I understand concerns of the people - safer communities and reducing crime.

2. What plans do you have to address your top three priorities? (100 word limit)

Start court on time. A simple solution, but it is a problem in Municipal Court now. Police shouldn't wait in court, when they should be on the streets. Victims and witnesses shouldn't wait as long.

Support the police by calling officers' cases first. If they worked the night shift, they need to get home to sleep and if they are on day shift they should be on the streets making our communities safer.

Build another jail so judges hands are not tied and so criminals who deserve jail get it.

We should consider staggered start times for court, so not everyone has to come at 9:00 and wait.
