1. What are your Qualifications for Office? (50 word limit)

Answer from Jerald Robertson:

I am well educated with big company management experience.I understand Village finances and have served on Council twice so I know what needs to be done. I will keep the Village clean and safe. The Police Department will be stablized with full time officers not inexperienced auxiliaries.


2. What plans do you have to address your top three priorities? (100 word limit)

Answer from Jerald Robertson:

The Village Maintenance Department will be assigned daily Village workers will be assigned specific clean-up chores. Submit long range plan for the Police Department to the Council that will provide for permanent officers. Update the Rules of Council. Offer plan to have a community center that can provide more activities for youth and senior citizens. Educate Village employees on how to respond to citizen requests.


3. What steps would you take to ensure that all public facilities are accessible to people with disabilities? (100 words limit)

Answer from Jerald Robertson:

The Town Hall is already accessible for the handicapped.


4. What specific steps will you take to expand recycling services in your community? (100 words limit)

Answer from Jerald Robertson:

Conduct a educational program on recycling and set up a way to facilitate more recycling.


5. What steps would you take to provide affordable housing for all residents of your community? (100 words limit)

Answer from Jerald Robertson:

Form a citizen task force to address this issue.
