1. What are your Qualifications for Office? (50 word limit)

Answer from Jeffrey A. Edwards:

No masters degree but have been blessed with good common sense. In a city the size of St. Bernard, you need to get the facts and make a decision. I also feel I communicate well.TO be a route salesman for 21 years, its a necessity.

2. What plans do you have to address your top three priorities? (100 word limit)

Answer from Jeffrey A. Edwards:

I plan to listen to the city administration, department heads and citizens, then balance what I hear with the income the city has and make well informed decisions. I have also spoken with a representative of a company that has a store in St.Bernard. He has expressed a desire to have a new store, with GASOLINE, he has passed the information I have given him to his real estate people. I believe we can make this happen. Sometimes a citizen can make a difference. I hope to do my part.

3. What steps would you take to ensure that all public facilities are accessible to people with disabilities? (100 words limit)

Answer from Jeffrey A. Edwards:

I believe all facilities are acessible.

4. What specific steps will you take to expand recycling services in your community? (100 words limit)

Answer from Jeffrey A. Edwards:

I'm in favor of composting, its a hard sell sometimes because of the fear of rodents. I would like to try.

5. What steps would you take to provide affordable housing for all residents of your community? (100 words limit)

Answer from Jeffrey A. Edwards:

Affordable housing doesn't seem to be a problem in St. Bernard. The housing problem we have is, just too much rental property. I would like more owner residents.
