Results, not Rhetoric
During the past four years my Council colleagues and I have completed the Coastal Trail from Redondo Beach Road through Ocean Colony, completed the Pilarcitos Bridge and the permitted Pilarcitos Trail, repaired significant portions of the Coastal Trail, purchased land for the Oak Street Park with State funds, purchased large portions of the Railroad Right-of-Way primarily with State funds, and purchased a 21 acre creekside Community Park site within walking distance of Main Street for $1,500,000 less than appraisal with a three year interest free loan.
We've spent $1,200,000 on street repairs - and it shows. We've advanced the Highway 92/Main Street Intersection project through cost reductions and securing additional funding. We're now acquiring necessary property.
Unfairly high sewer rates for restaurants have been cut in half. The Cunha store was rebuilt in record time with streamlined permit processing. A beautiful mural is installed on City Hall thanks to the Rotary Club.
Development projects were renegotiated into lower density and more public benefit. We've won major lawsuits and settled others favorably. Clearly, this City has well defended your interests.
Are these solid accomplishments? Yes.
Are there more to be done? Yes.
I ask for your continued support and your vote.
