Position Papers
Intigrate and improve disaster plans with the cities, county and the fire district
While each juristiction has very good disaster plans, it is critical that all the plans are intigrated with each other so that all agencies can work together in the event of a disasterous event.
Partner more closely with Palo Alto Fire Department
Our goal is to arrive at the scene of an emergency with 4 minutes 90 percent of the time. Palo Alto and Menlo Park fire agencies need one another to help each other reach this goal for medical incidents as well as fire.
Recruit and attract a permanent proven extraordinary leader and manager to head the fire district as the Fire Chief.
With the loss of our recent fire Chief (Paul Wilson), selection of the next chief is extremely important.
