As a Citicorp Financial Analyst, I was in charge of liquidity analysis for assets and liabilities management. By literally knowing what's City's cash inflows and outflows on a weekly basis, I am able to stretch the investment duration from currently averaged 180 days to 200 days even 240 days for higher yields using zero coupon bonds and securities repurchase program. For every 10 basis points, I can bring to City additional $2 million revenue up to 50 bps of $10 millions annually without sacrificing safety or liquidity.

As the Chief Financial Officer of Twenty-First Century Venture Capital, I managed over 12 equity companies in cash management, office automation, day-to-day accounting operation and tax reporting / auditing. As a Princiapl Financial Analyst for the City, I already made progresses / improvements in all three city departments, Rec.& Park, S F Airport and SFPUC in setting up policies and procedures, implementing dynamic financial models in system integration and saved City millions of dollars as well as increased millions of annual revenue. I will continue my commitment as the Treasurer in cost-cutting and revenue generating startegy by improving office productivity.

As a Financial Consultant for Dreyfus Corporation, I advised mutual fund investors in risk tolerance, asset allocation, tax-free, tax-deferred, tax credit investment and socially responsible and environmentally sound investments. I will be assisting Employee Retirement System to evaluate investment alternatives. Just like investors, S.F. tax payers would like to be treated as customers in facilitating payment processes and obtaining information. I will make Treasurer's Office more business like and customer service oriented.
