CANDIDATE HAS WITHDRAWN FROM THIS RACE

It is with great sadness that I must announce my intention to halt my campaign for Board Trustee of the Los Altos School District. Since filing, it has become obvious that earlier organization and intensive fundraising are required in such a competitive race. I will carry this valuable lesson forward into the next LASD election in 2007.

While my history of district advocacy and education research, as well as my analytic skills, would allow me to make important contributions to the district leadership, I can comfortably make the decision to withdraw because we have other highly-qualified candidates.

I urge you to carefully consider the background and positions of each of the candidates in this race and vote for those candidates who can best lead our district in educating our children.
