It has been a wonderful four years serving on the Cupertino City Council. We have hit many major milestones during my tenure on the city council. Most notably we have sustained a high level of service to the Cupertino community despite limited resources. We have maintained our focus on neighborhood safety by continuing to make public safety a top priority. We have preserved our precious and beautiful open space while providing affordable housing for public safety officers and teachers.

Additionally we have rejuvenated major businesses throughout Cupertino. Specifically Vallco Fashion Mall is experiencing a major revitalization. Cali Mill Plaza bustles with activity. And finally, our civic center, community hall and state-of-the art library are thriving with patrons and children of all ages enjoying these beautiful common areas.

Cupertino is truly unique. We are a mosaic made up of different cultures, religions and classes. Regardless of our individuality, we know that together we can accomplish so much more for our city and ultimately make Cupertino a better place to live for our children.

While I am happy that we have achieved so much in the past few years, there are still many challenging paths ahead. It is to overcome these challenges that I ask for your vote in my re-election to the Cupertino City Council.
