1. What is your position on the initiatives that are before the voters?

(No candidates submitted answers to this question)

2. Where do you see the money coming from to run the city?

Answer from Anthony "Tony" Spitaleri:

Sunnyvale is the 2nd largest city in Santa Clara County, and the 4th largest city in the 9 Bay Area Counties in terms of jobs. We must ensure that all our companies have the necessary tools and infrastructure available to do business in our City, so they will remain and grow in Sunnyvale. Retention of business will be one of my priorities. It is also most important that the efficiency of the City of Sunnyvale work at peak performance with a minimum of delay and paperwork. In addition, the cost of doing business in Sunnyvale must remain favorable as compared to the surrounding cities. Now that the Moffett Park Plan has been finalized and continues to move forward we must continue to work at attracting young companies, and more mature companies. I believe that we should also continue to look to the emerging new sciences, as we have in the past.

As we continue to remain a strong local economy, we will generate revenues for our city that can be invested in in quality services for our residents and businesses.
