Teer is noted for her commitment to economic development, protecting homeownership rights and public safety. Teer believes that homeowners have a right to quiet enjoyment of their rights without fear of unfair taking of their property by eminient domain. Teer also believes that City of Riverside's leaders should concentrate their energies towards bringing quality businesses to our community to increase the general fund revenues to add more public safety and other city services that enhance the quality of service in Riverside.

Teer understands the budget process and knows how to read and explain the allocation of funds to maximize the funding for hiring and training our Police and Firefighters. Teer is committed to working to retain and provide quality training to our public safety team. Teer believes that Riverside should work to keep other communities from luring our highly trained public safety team members to their cities. Teer believes the investment to train these individuals is too great and we should fight to keep them in Riverside.
